Two decades of delivering for Rhode Island families.

David is the only candidate for Congress in Rhode Island's second congressional district who has been fighting against corporate special interests and political corruption on the local, state, and national levels for 20 years.

Overcoming these forces is the only way we can make progress on affordability, universal health care, climate, access to reproductive and other fundamental rights — and all of the issues of the day.

We all know what’s not working. Together, we can fix it.

People understand that government should do more for them. Effective progressive leaders need to know how to build broad coalitions, with clear purposes. When we do so, we can overcome corporate special interests and political corruption — and make government do more.

Overcoming these forces is the only way that we can address the issues of the day: from increasing affordability, to accelerating the transition to green energy, from securing universal healthcare, to defending fundamental rights — and so much more.

David has been doing this work for 20 years.

As a member of his city council, a state representative — and, for the past decade, the executive director of a leading national policy organization — David has brought people together to advance policies that benefit working families.

He has delivered on the local, state and national levels by protecting local services and school funding; addressing housing affordability; standing up for civil rights and liberties; protecting the environment; guarding people and small businesses against abuses by banks, cable companies, big tech, and other corporate monopolies; advocating against disastrous military engagements; and pushing to raise wages and expand opportunities for working families.
